He had a black Spiderman birthday, and was wanting Ben-10 presents and costumes.
He loves to dress up, and at this age I totally want to indulge that creativity and the childlike fantasy of playing dressup before he grows out of it. So he got costume things!
I was really wishing that all the Halloween things were out, but they weren't out yet. He would have really liked a wildcat costume, like a cheetah or tiger. So I might look for that as a special post- birthday treat now that the costumes are showing up in stores.
His party was the Sunday before his actual birthday. We were SUPPOSED to have it at the cabin, to christen it, and because I had been on deadline for a couple weeks so my studio (ok, ok and the whole house) was a disaster. Then it RAINED RAINED RAINED and I had to do a marathon housecleaning so we could have the birthday party at home. And it was to be a cookout thing, and people were coming for dinner, so I had to cook too! Silly me!
Wyatt trying out the hula skirt. This will be a nice picture for future intimidation usage. :)
Here is the requested pizza dinner on his REAL birthday.
It's kind of nice having the party with all the craziness on the weekend and saving the special actual birthday for just us to be together in peace and relaxation. Plus it's like two parties and stretching out the celebration! LOL
Happy birthday to my little man! I love you Coltie :)
As promised, I will tantalize you with pics of the sweet little pink fairy I got from my darling friend Kim Lance.
She used a picture of her mother for this little gal, and said to watch out, she might bite! LOL
Cute tag!
Sweet sweet fairy. Thanks so much, Kimmy! Love ya!
And here is the blue and brown fairy I made for Kimmy.
Closer view of the lil sprite :)
Hmm- top of jar
Fancy schmancy beady frippery on the side...
And the back o'the wings :)
This aqua-tealish blue and brown fairy is also a workshop I taught at Michael's this past Monday night! We had a blast making them. What a fun night!
I will post another fairy set tomorrow! And I really have to show y'all some of the Halloween goodies I did for the shop. I will start listing on my ETSY as well, little by little!
